We had great success at the Masters of Martial Arts Competitions at Whalley at the start of April this year, where we took a team of 31 adults and children and came away with 49 medals in total.
We were successful across all events, namely Kata, Weapons Kata, Random Attacks, Continuous Fighting & Pairs Demonstrations.
There were some standout performances and the students are now training for the British Ju Jitsu Association National Championships at Walsall on 3rd September 2022.
We have specific Competition Training sessions at our Blackburn Academy every Monday & Friday which will run right up to the event in September.
Final confirmation of selection takes place on Monday 13th June at the competition classes.
Our next own in-house competitions take place on Sunday 26th June which will be a great opportunity for students to get ‘match fit’ and will include Random Attacks & Pairs Demonstrations
