Masters of Martial Arts Academy in Blackburn held its’ first competitions in nearly two years on Sunday when sixty-two students competed in Kata and continuous fighting.
The students, both adults and children, were able to get rid of the ‘ring rust’ caused by closure during lockdown and got to grips with the fighting techniques - and each other.
There were plenty of competitors who had only just taken up Ju Jitsu and the club event was to allow the students to build their confidence and begin preparing for the regional and national championships next year.
