We are pleased to announce that our fourth Masters of Martial Arts Blackburn Little Dragons & Junior Awards Charity Event on Sunday 29th March 2020 in the Premier Suite at Ewood Park, Blackburn. The event will commence at 4pm and the presentations should be completed by 6pm when a supper will be served.
Last year we recognised the achievements over 100 of our students, both Little Dragons and juniors, with awards presented by the Mayor of Blackburn and Prof. Martin Dixon.
As always, the event will also be a fundraising night in support of our Defibrillators for Schools programme.
For those unaware, throughout the year we raise funds to donate defibrillators to our local primary schools and since we started five years ago, we have raised over £10,000 and made donations to twenty-one primary schools. More details can be found on our website:
Tickets for the event are available at our Blackburn Academy priced at £10 each (same price for adults and children), but don’t forget that includes a free supper afterwards.
We had a great evening last time, and the children loved receiving their awards, prizes and certificates. I am also keen to recognise any achievements outside of Ju Jitsu, so please let us know if you have an inspirational story about one of our students which is worthy of recognition.
See you all there!
